Those Four Simple Facts That Are Guaranteed To Make You Happy

The only fact in life that will truly make you happy is having unlimited free time.

Every single one of us desires to be happy. However, we may all picture something different under the meaning of luck. Some people think of happiness as winning the lottery, while others focus on spending quality time with their loved ones.

That’s how many articles begin with happiness. But, I call this BS, since we are not as diverse as we believe ourselves to be, and we all want the same thing when it comes to happiness.

I found these four facts that make me happy after years of looking for happiness. I am confident that following these facts, you will become happier.

Being happy is like being content with your life

Compared to the fleeting feeling of happiness, the belief of the quality of your life and satisfaction with it is more important.

When you feel satisfied with your life, you share what it is and you take responsibility for it, then you can perceive your self-efficacy — so you realize that you can influence things, have some control and power over them, and everything you do has consequences.

In this instance, you must choose how you will react to an unsatisfying situation in your life and whether you will do something about it and if you can do something about it.

For example, gun violence in the US frightens me, so I left the US instead of trying to change the law.

You feel freer and in charge when you realize that you have the power to influence events in your life.

The moment I stopped being an employee and had all my time just for myself, I felt immediately happy. The feeling of being in control of your life is liberating.

Even happy people have bad days

Just because someone is happy or satisfied with their life does not mean that they still feel that way. Even people who usually feel happy sometimes have a bad time when they feel that they are failing or that nothing makes sense.

They may feel frustrated, angry, or sad. All these emotions belong to our emotional equipment, which is available to everyone and is fine if you feel them.

However, it would not be acceptable for you to be happy in situations where these emotions are anticipated for you not to feel sadness or anger.

However, it’s all about how you assess your life on a larger scale, how you view it — whether you rate it as good, bad only at the moment, or terrible overall.

Now, I live in Spain; I choose life off-grid with a homestead, to decrease my spending and the need for money. This way, I don’t have to work for anyone.

Despite, I have some bad days; I am always content and happy to have unlimited free time for myself.

I better work in the garden than behind the desk to make some money to buy low-quality food. In my humble opinion, this is against human nature to be chained to the desk all day.

Psychological resilience is important in perceiving happiness

It is the ability to handle stressful and stressful situations, it is a kind of invincibility that allows a person to cope with difficult situations without this experience becoming trauma.

If we experience a difficult period in life and we do not succeed in any area of life, a person with a high degree of resilience will manage this period without harm to his mental health.

He will say that although this period is difficult for him, he will eventually manage it because he has effective coping strategies and he has experienced that he has already handled similar situations in the past.

A person with a low level of resilience will experience severe frustration and great stress, which can result in chronic stress, which will cause him various psychological or psychosomatic difficulties.

On the other hand, there are some benefits to mental resilience. It may be learned and trained.

If you have a high level of resilience and sometimes experience difficult periods of life, you will still consider your life to be quality and happy.

Know yourself and find out what makes you happy

Socrates already knew the importance of knowing himself. If you don’t understand yourself and don’t know what you like, how can you know what will make you happy?

It’s critical to get to know yourself and learn what makes you happy, what matters to you, and what you care about.

When you find out, try to devote energy to these areas and take care of them. It is also important to know how to take care of yourself — your mental and physical health.

Enjoy peace, do activities that entertain and fill you, and spend as much time as possible with the people you love.

Eat quality food, enjoy good sleep, occasionally stroll outside and read a good book or watch a movie. Anything that will make you happy.

Take care of your happiness and it will take care of you.

Happiness is the result of our thoughts and actions.

You are solely responsible for your happiness. No one else can make you happy — not your partner, children, friends, or parents.

Of course, other people can share their good mood with you and make you happy at the moment, but in the long run, it all depends on you.

It is important to remember that we are the ones who choose our thoughts and actions. We can’t always control what happens to us, but we can always control how we react to it and what we do next.

For me, happiness is the pleasure of life, the sense that we are lacking nothing, and are content. Our desires kill our happiness.

Whenever I was looking for something to accomplish, I became dissatisfied. The lack of ambition and a desire for non-materialistic items have allowed me to be happy.

The only fact in life that will truly make you happy is having unlimited free time.
