Indecision will only let opportunities slip by.

If you are someone others call indecisive and have trouble deciding what you eat, you might often find yourself with a million projects and a million ideas yet no action. You expect to think yourself into action at some point but the thinking process is too time-consuming. You assume that eventually you will think out the most perfect action plan and then you can start putting your thoughts into action.

There is a flaw in this strategy. There is no such thing as a perfect action plan.

For example, I have a million project ideas as someone who is a graphic designer and an artist in general yet I never put it into action until recently.

I started by using the application called Notion just to jot down my ideas and keep them nice and tidy, I can list the ideas ive progressed in and the ones I havent started as you can see below:

Notion

As humans we tend to fear the unkown and take caution when making decisions. It’s our human instinct to be cautious of things we arent familliar with so what’s our first response to making a hard deciscion?

We avoid taking the deciscion in the first place.

This can cause quite the issue as your time is valuable and you can’t spend most of it planning out which deciscion is the best.

So I found a solution!

Why make the deciscions? completely take a seat back and put your faith in God.

I randomly googled “ Deciscion maker website” and I stumbled upon a good one.

You might be wondering how can this boost productivity? Try it out yourself. I have done more in the span of one month than year by not making the decisions and finally have multiple projects that are in the “In progress” section of my notion as you can see below:

It’s crazy how a simple website can help me get started on projects and I thought that this might benefit someone who struggles with not being able to commit to anything. Oh yes. The rule is to commit fully.

You cannot click “Find answer” button and not go with that deciscion or else the strategy will fail. You must always commit. Whether it’s a business idea or what to eat for lunch or what gift to buy your friend, this tool will save you so much time and you will thank me for it.

I will leave a link to the notion template I use as it is really good to track projects as well.
