Abstract

yped now. I took a typing class in school, and a typewriter was my high school graduation gift. Typing is just so fast and easy in today’s busy world.

10. Sweet or Sarcastic?

You guys know me by now, so what do you think? Of course, it is sweet. I am capable of being sarcastic, but I don’t like to act that way. It is not me.

11. Salt or pepper?

The answer is salt. I don’t use a lot of salt, but everything needs at least a touch of salt.

12. Laptop or Desktop?

I have to choose my Mac laptop. I have a desktop that is old and I do have a soft spot for it, but the laptop is so easy. I can sit in my recliner and create fabulous articles.

13. Clap or Follow?

This is a strange one because if I am clapping I am probably already following them. However, I think clapping takes a minute to show I care about the effort the writer put into writing the article.

14. This Or That Means Another BIG Challenge

There are 20 Questions This Time

Another This Or That Challenge

Denise Kendig has tagged me for another 20 question This or That challenge. Maybe these challenges will come to an end!

Actually they have been a bit of fun. We have come to know a little more about each other, which is nice. We have had a laugh or two also.

1. Resolutions or No Resolutions?

I do not make resolutions. Why set yourself up for failure? I make plans, and maybe I will achieve some goals or maybe not, but no resolutions for this gal.

2. Mountains or Ocean?

I live a few short miles from the ocean for a reason! Jacksonville, Florida is on the coast of the Atlantic Ocean. However, when I get a chance to visit a mountainous area I get excited. I love nature, so I enjoy different types of scenery.

3. Fiction or Nonfiction?

While I write primarily nonfiction articles, I love to read fiction for enjoyment. I love to read a good fictional book to get lost in the story. However, I love historical fiction, so there are always some nonfictional facts in those stories.

4. Morning or Night?

I am definitely a morning person. I wake up first thing in the morning, and I love the quiet. I read a chapter or two in the Bible, then pray. I drink my morning coffee, check my emails and Medium comments. Then, I write or maybe finish writing my first article to post online.

5. Long or short?

Long or short what? I do not get this question. I read a lot of articles on Medium, so I don’t like to see articles that are 11 or 12 minutes long because I run out of time. I guess I follow too many people. So, it is short.

6. Books or Audiobooks?

This one is definitely a book. I do not like audiobooks, and I never listen to them. I do listen to articles once in a while on Medium while I am eating, but it is not my first choice. I like to read!

7. Coffee or Tea?

This is an easy one. I have already mentioned my morning coffee. I take it with a bit of cream, and I typically drink 2 cups.

8. Reading or Writing?

While I do love to read, I have to choose writing. I have always loved to write. I made an A in English composition in school. I have written in one way or another throughout my life.

9. Handwritten or Typed?

I used to love getting a handwritten letter. My grandma used to write to me, and my son when he was in Iraq. I treasure those letters and many others, but I have to choose typed now.

14. Funny or Serious?

I love to read a little humor in an article. Most of life is serious, but we all need to laugh sometimes, but I will choose serious books or specific topics of interest that are serious.

15. Hobby or Career?

I’m retired, so I am choosing a hobby, and I have several, in addition to writing and reading. I like genealogy research, and I like to make stained glass art. Hobbies fill my time.

16. Pen Name or No Pen Name?

If you look up you will see my full name. I actually like pen names, but I didn’t choose to use one.

17. Winter or Summer?

Actually I like autumn, then spring the best. I guess for this question I will choose summer, but winter is quite short in Florida.

18. Airplanes or Automobiles?

I definitely choose automobiles. I love road trips, and I find airports to be a big hassle. Traveling through this beautiful country has always been a joy to me. I have seen 43 states and loved them all.

19. Tonic or Soda

This has to be soda as tonic doesn’t even sound good to me.

20. Sunrise or Sundown?

I have already written about my love of the early morning, so I will choose the sunrise. However, a beautiful sunset is also nice to see.

I must tag my tribe on Medium. I would love to read your responses. I hope I haven’t forgotten anyone.
