This One Trick Will Inspire You and Make You Write Again

Take a shot and write a poem.

I read a story somewhere that said if you are feeling not in the mood to write, drink a shot, and write the poem. I tried it and it did the trick. Please, keep it only to one-shot or a drink, I don’t want you to become an alcoholic. If you would like to have more fun with creating the poem use these apps described in this article:

I tested the Rhyme zone and it was so much fun.

A few days ago, I wrote this poem because of this trick.

Last night my girlfriend called me crying and complaining about her husband. Of course, they had a fight again. I told her: “Have a shot and write a poem.”

This morning my old friend from school sent me a message, he broke up with his girlfriend and he does not know what to do. I told him to write a poem and send it to me. I did not tell him to have the drink because he just started his AA meetings.

The point is a poem can be short, it does not have to rhyme, only a few words together will do the magic. The magic is to open your creativity and keep going.

Many of us forget to be creative like we were way back when we were children. We get sucked into this adult world where earning, doing something takes all our waking time and we have no space to create.

You can use this trick if you don’t feel like writing too. It may serve as an appetizer to get your creative juices flowing or as a preface to writing sessions.

Creativity makes you free and happy. You don’t have to write a novel, just a few words to open your heart and mind. Try it! Write a poem and I will read it!
