This One Is for the Bird Lovers

How I fell in love with bird watching and AI design in Midjourney.

I must confess, I’m obsessed with birds these days.

It started with putting us putting up a birdfeeder in our backyard. We had gotten a gift card for our anniversary and thought it would be a fun addition to our new home.

Before we knew it, we would stand by the window each day to watch and identify all the different birds that came to our bird feeder. I even got a bird journal to track their feeding habits and what foods they liked during certain times of the year.

As a designer and writer, my backyard birds inspired my creativity. I wrote a few poems about my birds. Then I started working with AI design.

I was hesitant at first because learning how to design with AI sounded extremely overwhelming, but I quickly fell down the rabbit hole.

I LOVE IT!

There are lots of programs that are available for AI image creation. However, I prefer Midjourney. It’s reasonable price wise and I also find the interface to be the easiest to interact with and get the results I want.

I started my own Etsy store and I’m having so much fun with it. I made a list of all the breeds of birds in my backyard and got to work.
