This, My Faith
Prompted poetry for “All things faith”
This empty vessel has fought with teeth and claws sometimes near-death to believe in some thing or some one
And it’s been difficult replanting faith and hope, over again only to have ignorance or hypocrisy rip away those tiny seeds
So questions have lingered and thoughts have been too heady Yet a still, small voice whispers this is a job for the heart, not mind
And my heart speaks with warmth reminding me — the many are One and the One is pure Love It’s only humans who create divisions
