This Month’s Reads Have Amazed Me
A look at my favourite and amazing reads on Medium this month

For a while now, at least a year, I’ve been collating (which I am told is a very un-American word), on Medium. I started doing this because I felt that there is so much good, amazing writing that hardly gets seen here, which is a shame. Then, in recent months, Medium made a call for editors who could nominate their favourite reads for a boost, and I thought maybe my publication is now redundant, but people kept coming so I continued.
This seems like a good time to say Thank you.
Anyway, now that I am getting to the end of ten days of flu, which, I admit, cannot have been helped by those 20 cups of tea I drank in a row, I want to share some health stories with you; firstly, this eye-opening story; even though the phrase, ‘Physician Heal Thyself’ is becoming hackneyed on Medium (I have read so many stories with the quote, and I’ve written one myself), I like this story and the quote fits perfectly.
