This Is What Successful Meditation Looks Like

There’s a secret code in every stanza of this poem. Take a guess

The reason you should meditate Is because Google has information It doesn’t have the answers you seek You won’t get a link for confirmation

Google can’t give you direction For peace can’t be found on Maps You have to focus on your breath And slip into the silent gaps

It’ll feel like a long Drive to nowhere My dear, you’ll have to be patient Stay with your breath until you get to that space You’ll meet that part of you that’s nascent

Schedule this meeting on your Calendar You must do this daily and expect nothing Keep going until it becomes a habit One day, I promise you’ll stop thinking

That’s not why you must meditate, ‘coz It’s not about controlling your thoughts When the thoughts fail in their Search for you You’ll learn that your peace is worth lots

Hear yourself say “I’m minding My Business And my mind has become my best friend.” This is the beginning of your second life One that will have a most memorable end

Then you‘ll have nothing to worry about Because your best friend is by your side Forget about you past and future Don’t let one precious moment Slide
