I never expected so many responses to the following article:

You may ask why?

I am writing in English for English readers. I am multilingual and can speak and write English, Tamil and Hindi and love to use all these languages. The habit that I am building in December 2022 is to learn and record slow chanting of Thiruppavai Pausrams ( Tamil language). I looked for relevant Publications on Medium to submit my article but in vain. Then I decided to just keep writing. I looked for tags relating to Thiruppavai and found one #Tiruppavai. Then I decided to record the first Pasuram, write about my experience and share it in Reciprocal Publications.

Hermione Wilds Writes has responded as under:

“Enjoyed this on my second listen too.”

This is truly encouraging, inspiring, and humbling. Thank you, Hermione.

While I am saying to myself The proverb, “Strike while the iron is hot”, I am posting the recording of Pasuram 2 of Tiruppavai here and invite you to listen. Let the vibration bring prosperity, peace, and excellent health.

Lessons learned:

I am not a trained singer and hence I don’t know anything about ragas and voice modulation etc. However, I am fueled by a devotion to God or Higher Power or Infinite Intelligence, as you may call it.

While learning the Pasuram 2, I needed to pronounce the Tamil words clearly, hence the stutter. I said that’s OK. Just shared my imperfect recording. Now I am filled with “Completion energy”. With this energy, I am ready to learn and record Pasuram 3

Success is completion. Success is being able to complete what we set out to do — each action, each specific step, each desired experience whether a big project or a very small errand.
