This Is My Lot In Life
Pain and temporary happiness
As I watch it fall The rain It washes away my pain
Temporary relief Finds me So I can escape my grief
It won’t be long until it comes back But at least I can be gone for now I can feel the happiness that always lacks
I’ve accepted that sorrow is my lot in life But I refuse to give in In myself, I continuously find strength
For tomorrow is another day I can choose pain Or I can find a way to escape
This is my lot in life It’s either temporary happiness or back to the strife
