This is How to Rewire Your Mind for Positive Lasting Change & Success

It all starts with a daily program and a morning routine.

Hardly anyone talks about this missing ingredient to changing permanently. But I've done it and so can you!

I don't say this to sound impressive I say it from experience.

I feel like I struck a goldmine — no exaggeration when it finally dawned on me this pivotal truth to real lasting change.

It's the missing piece to the puzzle.

It’s taken me nine and a half years to figure it out. Not that long huh?

This truth is based on my own personal experience in changing my life which is a direct result of the countless research and work I have done.

I am an avid scholar of personal development and practitioner and I really do apply what I learn. I walk my talk!

This truth for some strange reason isn’t mentioned anywhere near enough in the literature or material on changing one’s life.

It applies to changing habits, changing thoughts and beliefs that don't serve you, losing weight, changing your self-image, etc

Okay, want to know what this truth is?

Here it is in its pure unadulterated honesty:

To make a real lasting permanent change you must reprogram your subconscious mind or else nothing changes. You've got to build a new program in your mind or else You’ll just keep getting the same results year after year.

Remember this for the rest of your life!

You see the subconscious mind is responsible experts say for much (at least 96- 97%) of our thinking, behaviors, and actions and so determines much of our results in life.

This is huge but we are not taught this enough.

Most people have a vague idea of how their subconscious mind impacts them but don't fully understand it.

They hear about it and think ‘oh that’s interesting but never actually understand the massive impact it has on their life.

So they never intentionally work at programming it to change their life for the better. You don't know what you don't know after all!

Same results= same programming

So year after year they get the same results, despite often working hard at changing — reading books, forming new habits, and even having therapy, etc.

If you take a look at the results in your life from your health to work to money, and relationships you'll see they mostly come from your programming in your subconscious mind.

People that make a lasting change whether it’s quitting smoking, losing weight, eliminating bad habits, etc have actually reprogrammed their subconscious minds even if they don't realize it.

When you reprogram your subconscious mind, you build a new identity.

You must die to the old you to make way for the new you.

This is what I had to do — die to the old Sandra, the me that was getting the same results year after year, and birth a brand new me.

It’s interesting to note that there’s a therapy cognitive behavior therapy but it leaves out this fundamental truth of changing your subconscious conditioning.

I've never quite understood this.

Otherwise known as CBT its focus is on changing your behaviors but unless you change your subconscious programming and create a new identity you’ll revert back to those behaviors.

Even psychoanalysis mostly leaves out this important piece to the puzzle.

Without changing your subconscious mind any change will be short-lived.

The weight will come back on, you’ll smoke again, get into bad habits, etc.

Be your own programmer

Be your own programmer and I would say even a psychologist and psychiatrist and program your subconscious mind.

But do it daily especially if you are not in a happy place in your life.

This isn't a once-a-while thing or when you feel like it.

It's a 365-day commitment.

But so worth it.

How do you do this?

Glad you asked.

I will share with you the exact formula, step by step I used and still use to reprogram my mind and transform myself.

The formula is taken mostly from the morning routine that I've refined over the years. It's a daily commitment to self-improvement.

You need to set aside an hour each morning upon waking up for your self-improvement and overall reprogramming.

If an hour is too much do half an hour.

But if you wake up a bit earlier one hour is easily doable and gets you much better results than just half an hour.

It helped me transform my life in as little as six months.

I know it can do the same for you so borrow my template and adapt to your own circumstances and just rinse and repeat.

In addition, feel free to change the steps around and do them in the order you prefer.

My template for rewiring my mind for success & lasting positive change:

1. Write down three things you're grateful for upon first waking up. Gratitude is a bit of a ‘buzzword’ these days but the truth is doing this simple exercise helps reprogram and rewire your mind for satisfaction and happiness.

2. Practice writing with your non-dominant hand. Just a few sentences of a statement/affirmation you connect with. Writing with your non-dominant hand helps reprogram your mind. Try brushing your teeth as well with your non-dominant hand.

3. Read one to two pages from a personal development book. I have one personal development book I read to aid my growth. This month’s book is Self Matters: Creating Your Life From The Inside Out.

4. Clear the cobwebs in your mind & do some meditation. I go on YouTube for meditation. I like to do ones that have empowering affirmations. These go straight to the subconscious mind. Do be careful of subliminal messages as you dont really know what they are programming into your mind.

5. Get a personal development teacher /mentor on Youtube and study them every day. I listen to Bob Proctor for at least 20 minutes as he is my favorite. Find a teacher you connect with and implement what they teach. Don't have too many teachers or it gets confusing and the messaging gets diluted.

6. Spend a few minutes in mental rehearsal. This is a heightened form of visualization. Mentally rehearse the person you want to be. Create an image in your mind of the person you want to be. I mentally rehearsed the Sandra I wanted to be — more confident, empowered, and healthier. I've become that! Playing music during your mental rehearsal further helps cement the image.

7. Go over your goals for the day. I structure my days Monday to Saturday (Sundays are my day off) around six goals. I write them the night before. Structuring your day around goals gives you order, direction, and purpose. Don't have more than six as it gets overwhelming.

Seems like a lot of work?

It actually isn’t once you get momentum and I guarantee you’ll love it as you’ll start seeing a real change in just one month.

Besides not being happy and staying stuck and getting the same results year after year also involves work but it's not fulfilling.

By doing the above you not only have an empowering morning routine but you have the formula to rewire your mind.

It's the ultimate win-win. Sorry to sound cliche.

In a year you’ll be a totally unrecognizable person.

Doing the above has changed me so much like night and day that I need a telescope to look back at my life.

You can too but you must implement it.

The worst thing you can do is just sit, listen & gather information.

Dont be a YouTube zombie who gets their dopamine hit and then does nothing.

Your life changes once you understand and implement the ideas.

I worked on the ideas and still do them seven days a week. No exception!

Do you want to know the secret sauce?

Repetition, Repetition, Repetition.

Consistent, Consistency, Consistency.

I know it's not sexy but it's the key to lasting change.

You must repeatedly and consistently saturate your mind with empowering material.

Brainwash yourself for success

You're essentially brainwashing yourself for success and reprogramming your mind to be more empowered.

You’ll wonder why you didn’t do it before and if you’ve been through counseling you’ll wonder why counseling never gave you such powerful tools.

Doing the above is reprogramming your subconscious mind for success.

It’s hardly taught.

Of course, there must be other ways to reprogram your mind for success but this is what has transformed me so I wanted to share it with you.

Transformation lies with you

I have my YouTube mentor the late Bob Proctor to thank for reprogramming my mind.

He helped me understand that if I wanted to change I had to reprogram my subconscious mind or else nothing would change — I would get the same results.

Bob calls this changing your ‘paradigm’ which is essentially your subconscious conditioning what I’m talking about here.

I was fed up with getting the same results year after year, it was Ground Hog Day and I hated it.

There’s so much talk these days about habits and changing them but understand until you change your subconscious mind and create a whole new identity you’ll never change a habit permanently.

It’s all very well having goals, motivation, productivity hacks, etc but if you dont reprogram your subconscious mind and create a new identity for the good you desire nothing changes.

Why this isn’t being taught enough is beyond my comprehension.

It’s in hardly any of the literature including self-help and personal development books. I should know as to date I’ve read over 400 books.

The only two places I have found it are in

  1. Bob Proctor’s teachings
  2. The Power of Your Subconscious Mind by Joseph Murphy

Aside from these two sources, it's hardly mentioned in the psychology and psychiatry literature aside from in hypnosis.

Maby, I just haven't looked hard enough.

But from my experience, I have reached the conclusion that to reprogram yourself you need a combination of audio, video, and text-based content.

You don't need a psychologist.

You don't need to spend much money either.

Just a commitment to put some time aside each day to do this.

But the rewards are astonishing.

You’ll hear so much about removing limiting beliefs, thinking big, creating the life of your dreams, etc but this vital piece to the puzzle of life is missing.

I believe it’s the reason that 99.9% of people struggle in life and get the same results year after year despite reading self-help books, going to counseling, changing habits, going to seminars, etc.

But you don't have to be part of that 99.9% you can be part of the 1%- 2% that have discovered this truth even if they don't realize it on a conscious level.

Extra powerful things to do to speed up your reprogramming:

The following are incredibly powerful and are not taught enough and yet they are some of the most potent tools you have at your disposal to change your life for the better:

  • Make a recording on your phone that overrides your most limiting beliefs and thoughts including any phobias and listen to it daily. Play it as many times as possible.
  • Have 1–2 affirmations daily that empower you. Don't have more as you’ll feel overwhelmed. Saying them in front of the mirror is highly potent.
  • Practice auto-suggestion a powerful tool for reprogramming your mind. Write out a goal (pick just one) in the present tense at least 20 times for 30 days straight. It will help burn it in your subconscious mind.
  • Write out a script in the present tense of the person you want to become and the life you want to have. Keep it to one to two pages. Read it daily three times a day to let it sink into your subconscious. You can also record it on your phone.
  • When you have limiting self-talk say to yourself ‘cancel and delete.’ It's simple but acts as a powerful command to your subconscious.
  • Consume content throughout the week that helps with your reprogramming- Medium articles, podcasts, books, webinars, etc.
  • Join groups and masterminds that expand your mind and thinking. I have recently joined the Carl Jung Society and Toastmasters. They have opened me up to so many new ideas along with meeting new people.

Start programming your subconscious mind now for success and the good you desire.

You’ll start witnessing an amazing transformation beyond your wildest dreams.

Don't rely on psychologists, counselors, etc to do it for you.

Most of them wouldn't even tell you about what’s being discussed here anyway.

They would either rubbish it or just not even be aware of the potency and power of what’s being discussed.
