This Is How Much Youtube Paid Me On My First Day
I’m finally getting paid on Youtube
As a creator on YouTube, it can be difficult to know what to expect when it comes to earnings. After all, building a following and creating quality content takes time and effort.
I had started my YouTube channel in July 2021, initially just as a creative outlet to share my journey making money online. I have had some success with Amazon KDP and Merch By Amazon and my early videos were based on those marketplaces.
I had no idea what to expect or whether anyone would even be interested in what I had to say. But much to my surprise, I saw initial growth and positive feedback on my channel in the first few months.
As I continued to upload videos on a regular basis, I began to gain more and more subscribers. It was a slow process, but it was rewarding to see that people were enjoying my content and finding value in it.
After many months of hard work and consistently uploading videos, I finally reached the threshold of 1,000 subscribers and 4,000 watch hours required to be eligible for monetization. By the end of January, I was approved and ready to start earning from my content.
On my first monetised day, I couldn’t wait to see how much I would earn. I eagerly logged into my AdSense account and was thrilled to see that I had earned $22.39 from ad revenue. While this may not seem like a huge amount, for a beginner like me, it was a sign of progress and success.

So, how did I earn this amount? Well, YouTube pays creators based on a variety of factors, including the number of ad views and clicks. I was fortunate enough to have 2 videos that had gained some traction and received a lot of views during January. This led to a higher number of ad views and clicks, which ultimately resulted in my earnings for the day.
While earning money on YouTube is exciting, it’s important to remember that it’s not the only reason to create content. I love sharing my experiences and connecting with my audience. However, it’s a great burden off my chest and a sign that my hard work is paying off.
Looking back on my first monetised day on YouTube, I’m proud of what I accomplished. Earning $22.39 may not seem like much, but it’s a small step towards achieving my goals as a content creator. I’m excited to see where this journey takes me and can’t wait to share more of my experiences with you.
