November was my first full month writing for Medium, and I have to say, my earnings exceeded my expectations. I earned a grand, life-changing total of $5.44. That may not sound like a lot, and it’s not but that’s more than I ever thought I would get in my first month since other content-creating platforms like YouTube, take a long time to earn anything at all, which didn’t give me any expectations.

I originally started writing on medium because I had many subjects and current events I wanted to discuss but didn’t have many people to discuss these in person as most people (especially in the United States) don’t seem to be overly interested in more intellectual-based conversations.

My first month has been very encouraging as my follower count has grown by 135 in my first month which is insane to me. I am going to keep posting consistently and am very excited to see what happens with the growth of my audience going forward. I am very thankful to each one of you that take the time to read and comment on my posts. It brings me a lot of joy to know that there are people out there interested in what I have to say.
