This Is How I Performed On Medium In January
I am happy with my performance but not satisfied
I did not publish many articles in November and December. So I decided to publish at least 15 articles in January.
I have a hand-made calendar and I mark a cross on each day I publish an article. Here are the results in January:

As you can see, I published 12 articles. Since I was traveling during the first week of January, I could not capitalize the first 11 days. Nonetheless, I think I did well especially at the back end of the months.
I got decent views (50–70) on most stories and got 200+ views on a couple of stories. Considering where I was a year ago, I am more than happy with my progress.
I was getting views in single digits 5–6 months ago, but now I am getting at least 40–50 views on a story.
In terms of earnings, I am a little disappointed. I have been earning $100+ for the last 3 months but I failed to achieve my goal this month.
I made $76 in January.

I will strive to publish more stories in February (at least 20) and break the $100 barrier.
In terms of views, my stories were viewed more than 4000 times which is good for me considering I did not write for 10 days.

My goal for February will be to cross 5000+ views.
In terms of audience stats, I am not happy with my performance.

The followers section is decent. I gained 45 followers this month with took my overall following to 400+. This is a small milestone for me. I want to gain at least 50 followers next month.
The email subscriber section is disappointing. I lost one email subscriber which brought my overall subscriber to 25. I will try to gain at least 10 email subscribers next month.
I did not gain any referred members as well. So I am still stuck at 10. I will try to get at least 2 more referred members next month.
I hope my journey has inspired you to carry on your as well.
