This Gentleman Made $1400+ in His Fourth Month on Medium
Numbers don’t lie.

He reminds me of when I started my Medium journey back in 2021.
I made pretty much the same in my third month, then doubled it in the fourth month. Here are the articles.
Purpose of this article
Medium is not dead. Here is the proof.
This Gentleman, Carl Jeffers, made the following in the first FOUR months. Big Congratulations!
1st month — $6.20
2nd month — $605.86
4th month — $1426
If you put in effort, you can easily make money.
Make sure your reading is purposeful, and you are following all the rules of Medium.
Stats used to be really different a couple of years ago; if we make the comparison, I got 75000 plus views but still made merely $1700.
This gentleman got 20000 views and made almost $1500.
You can see a massive difference. However, the fundamentals are still the same.
Now, the big question
How you can make it? Yes, you, the reader!
Here is a one-word solution!
Consistency!
Write 80+ articles without even looking at the stats like Carl did.
I am way far from hitting Carl’s publishing target. I published a maximum of 55 articles monthly, and Carl is hitting 80+ stories each month.
I must say it is not an easy task. But again, when you’re highly result-driven, you can do it.
Here are a couple of things that worked out for me, and I can see all the successful writers follow the same strategy.
The title is everything — if your tile is not attention-grabbing, no one is going to click your story.
Strategy
Do a 30-day challenge to write 10+ titles every day. I can guarantee you that you will master the game of title in 30 days; that’s roughly 30*10= 300 titles.
Subtitle — pay attention.
Image — make sure it’s aligned with your title

How do you make people read your stories?
Here are the top three components of any story.
#1 Educate
Your task is to teach readers how to be a better version of themselves.
Make sure a reader is learning something from your story.
#2 Inspire
Inspiring the audience is the critical aspect of reading more.

To have a happy life, all you have to do is start simple. Don’t overcomplicate everything.
#3 Entertainment
Through some numbers, the story makes more sense; pick a couple of fiction writers to learn how to add entertainment to your story. Start with the following book.

Key takeaways
It’s pretty easy to foresee the gains.
Here are some tips on consistently making $1000+ per month on Medium.
If I can make it, you can make it.
Strategy is right here in front of your eyes; you have to work.
- Stay consistent — super important.
- Write 2–3 stories daily — don’t worry about the content length initially; focus on quality and quantity. Don’t get trapped in the perfectionist dilemma; just publish with practice, and you will improve your writing game.
- There is no shortcut; you must work hard; the gentleman posted 80+ stories last month. In fact, he posted almost 200+ stories in less than four months. And that’s not an easy task.
- Try to help people as much as you can by sharing what you know.
