This AI Tool Mimics My Writing Style

My secret to “cloning” myself.

Have you ever wished you could duplicate yourself?

As a solo creator, TIME is my biggest hurdle.

If only I could find a way to clone myself, I could get so much more done and exponentially increase my income.

Sure, I can outsource some things.

But when it comes to creating content, it’s hard to find someone who writes, thinks, and “sounds” exactly like me.

That is until recently when Jasper (my preferred AI writing assistant) released its new “Brand Voice” feature.

Yes, I know using an AI writing assistant isn’t for everyone.

(i.e., If you are writing fiction novels, this one isn’t for you.)

However, if you are running a business that RELIES on content for product creation, marketing, social media posts, YouTube video scripts, affiliate promotions, email newsletters, etc., then this tool could be a game changer for you.

How It Works

Once you’re inside Jasper, the first thing you need to do is set up your “brand voice.”

You can do this by clicking “Add Voice” on the “Brand Voice” settings page.

Next, you can choose whether to add content from a URL (i.e., a blog post or article) or from text that you copy and paste.

Keep in mind that what you enter at this stage is what Jasper will analyze and mimic in future content outputs.

For this example, I’m going to enter the URL of one of my best-performing articles.

Next, Jasper will take about 10 seconds to analyze the text.

Then, you’ll have an opportunity to “modify” the tone.

If you’re satisfied with the way Jasper described your writing style, give your voice a name and click “Create voice.”

This will store the “voice” in your brand library.

You can also tick the check box to make it the default voice for all your campaigns.

Once your “voice” has been created, you can also enter information into your brand’s “Knowledge Base.”

You can add text or upload files with additional information about your brand, business, products, target customer, competitors, and SEO keywords that you would like to target in your content.

Once you have finished “teaching” Jasper about your brand and writing style, you are ready to start creating content.

You can use your “brand voice” and Knowledge Base information with any of Jasper’s templates or workflows.

I prefer to open a new blank document in Jasper and then use the templates, chat, and compose features as I need them with my “brand voice.”

One of the things I find really valuable about Jasper is that I can do all of my work inside the document editor.

I don’t have to copy text from ChatGPT and paste it into a separate Word document.

Jasper also lets you save files and organize them into “Campaigns.”

This makes it easy to keep all of my projects neat and organized.

What Can You Create?

Since there is no limit to the number of words you can generate with Jasper (even on the lowest tier plan), you could use this to create unlimited:

YouTube video scripts
Emails
Articles
SEO-optimized blog posts
Book outlines & chapters
Social media posts
Course outlines/lecture scripts
Digital products
Email newsletters
Product descriptions
Presentations
Affiliate promotions
Marketing copy
Etc.

Basically, if you write content for any aspect of your business, this tool can help you do it a whole lot faster.

However, it’s important to keep in mind that Jasper is a TOOL (not an infallible miracle worker), and these tools aren’t perfect yet.

So you should always review/edit/fact-check any content you create with the assistance of AI.

How Much Does Jasper AI Cost?

I know that for a lot of small creators, the cost can be an issue, so I thought I highlight that here instead of making you go look for it if you’re interested in giving this a try.

At the end of May 2023, Jasper lowered its prices.

Their “Creator” tier now costs $39 a month (if you get the annual plan) or $49 a month if you want to pay month-to-month with the option to cancel at any time.

If you’re running a one-person business and looking to “clone” yourself, the “Creator” tier is really all you need.

For $39-$49 per month, you can have Jasper generate UNLIMITED words in your unique voice.

This is a fantastic value for small businesses and creators who were either doing all of their content creation on their own or outsourcing.
