Thinking of Starting a Garden?

Here’s what you need to establish first

Gardening isn’t just a straightforward something that you can start tomorrow and reap the benefits next week. It is a labour of love.

Emotionally — much patience is needed along with a whole lot of love. For crying out loud, I’m not asking you to read your tomatoes bedtime stories. I just mean that you need to be nurturing.

Factually — quite a bit of dedicated time is required. You also need to meet the requirements of what you wish to grow in terms of placement, weather conditions, etc. It isn’t necessarily a costly affair, which is what’s nice about gardening; garden equipment can be made from recyclable bits and bobs that you have lying around.

Gardening can be therapeutic and the final results are always worth it but, ask yourself first: are you cut out for it?
