100 Days Writing Challenge
Thinking And Writing
Try a different thought process — Episode 12
It seems like the time when you get on a diet plan with full energy and enthusiasm but only a few days down the line; you run low on gas. So, you go full throttle and give it your best shot like a do or die kind of situation. Or quit halfway, go back to the drawing board, make another plan, and get some more fuel. But either you will make it to the finish line despite a weak plan but more determination, or you will fail despite a solid plan but a half-hearted ambition.
This is actually my situation right now. It is 10:42 pm on the clock, but I still haven’t published my story for today. So, here is the deal to make it through and feel alive in the 100 days. I will pull it through tonight with another push and keep going until the writing challenge is complete.
Let me explain it in another way. I am totally amused by a recruiting specialist based in Dubai named Sohaib Hasan. He has close to a million followers on his LinkedIn account and he is very consistent with his posts. He comes up with something unique every time and that he does without fail at least 4 to 5 times every day. I tried doing it but only after a few days, I could not keep up with his pace. Why? Because I was thinking too much. Planning too much. So, this is where the problem lies my friends. As aspiring, amateur, professional, seasoned, experienced, or veteran writers — we all have to think deeply, think out of the box. But more than anything else, we don't have to think too hard all the time. We can also we also think and write simultaneously? It may be the best way forward in situations like these. I think it is worth at least a try.
So, the take from my today’s story is that don't think too much, just try to be consistent, and go with the flow. Take one step at a time. You will progress and within no time, you will at the top of your game — much before you think!
I hope you enjoyed today’s episode. See you tomorrow!
