The Cold Hard Truths

Has there ever been a more potent time in our lifetime to “wake up”?

I really don’t think there has been.

There have been opportunities throughout our lives where we have been given chances to see, feel, and experience personal awakenings but as of late it seems either you get it, or you don’t. And once you catch a glimmer of getting it, there is no turning back. You’re on the roller coaster now and there is no getting off of it to return to before.

I’ve seen it so many times with my friends, clients, and acquaintances. They see it and they get it. Something clicks for them and their process is beginning. They start to get excited. They have just learned they are a Pleiadean Starseed and these are their magic traits. They have just learned about a past life that is re-running its course in this one and it all makes sense and its empowering to know that they were once a witch or magician.

They just learned they also have psychic powers; they are a seer and can witness what others can’t. They just learned energy healing and have noticed amazing results in themselves and their own family. Shiiiit they even healed the family dog! They just figured out that, that voice in their head this whole time has actually been their Higher Self all along trying to reach them.

Those repetitive dreams they always have are actually insights from another lifetime. That one mystical experience they had when they were young that’s never left them was REAL.

They are not crazy! It’s all real! Magic is real, energy is real, and we can do something with it. It’s empowering, the inner child goes wild and we all feel something that we haven’t felt in a really long time. It all makes sense; it all clicks and life is suddenly seen from a whole other perspective.

The reasonings vary from person to person on the awakening and what triggers it. A crisis somewhere else triggers an awakening across the world or in a different part of the world. Someone close to us dies. Sudden remembering of childhood encounters start to pop up. The Government does some shady shit right in front of the masses and our inner authority starts to wake and shake.

It is easy to sit back and know what is right and wrong and how to do it on the internet or even when working with others but once you are thrown into it, or there is a crisis happening in your own backyard or is interfering in your personal life, suddenly awakening is not all that fun nor is it easy.

So, they have had the epiphany, the remembering, the activation. They have started to dive in a little deeper learning energy types, chakras, Starseed lineages, energy work, psychic training, dove into holistic practices, took a course, etc etc… Now they feel they are ready, they have it all figured out and we are open for business for changing the world and helping our loved ones through tough times, limiting beliefs, and breakthroughs.

Suddenly it happens…

All the things I wish someone would have told me about coming out of the spiritual closet.

All the things I wish someone would have warned me would happen once I begin activating.

All the things I wish someone would have mentioned about having very REAL psychic abilities.

All the things I wish someone would have told me about waking up.

It was all beautiful and chaotic.

Hearting breaking and enlightening.

Big reveals and big truths.

Confusing and directionless.

But somehow confident and self-assured that this was the right thing, we press on.

And the knowing that everything is going to be ok.

Things I wish someone would have told me about waking up…

Coming out of the Spiritual Closet

Your family might not believe you and some might even be a little embarrassed. This is what happened to me. I do think some are still a little embarrassed. It can get kind of awkward sometimes.

I know of some people who have had really amazing reactions from their families and their family is their biggest fan base but I wish someone would have prepared me for the backlash that ensued from some family members. Not everyone was as excited as I was.

You May Lose Friends

I also lost friends. In fact, I lost them all. I remember at one point not having a single friend and just hanging out in my basement suite. I have reconnected with some and have also made a great new circle of supportive friends but I did lose lots of people who I thought would be there as ride or dies. They were just there for a party or my energy.

It took me a long time to be able to connect with others again and find a group or a circle that resonates with me. I fluttered through different spiritual groups as well and I did not fit in them some of them either.

When you lose people, there are new and better coming for you.

You will be faced with situations that require you to stand in your integrity and authenticity

I have never been thrust into so many uncomfortable situations in my life as when I first “woke up”. There were a lot of confrontations and also situations where I needed to have the courage to stand within who I was and who I was birthing myself to be.

I was forced to stand in my truth over and over again.

It’s one thing to believe and say something, it’s another to actually embody it and you will be put in situations where you will need to “show up”.

Rise or repeat. Over and over again.

Your body will have literal physical reactions, health crises, and mystery illnesses.

When I think about my body back then, I get an image of wires being crossed, circuits glitching out, and purging… so much purging.

I was having physical reactions to my place of work. I would suddenly break out in hives on my face that were painful.

I would have unexpected allergic reactions to things I was never allergic to and still aren't today.

I would have ailments and mystery illnesses that doctors could not figure out how it was brought on, and also how they healed miraculously! My body was reacting to something I could not see. For the most part, it all worked out and just needed to let it run its course but in the moment it can be a little scary to have no control over what’s going on with your human suit.

As your vibration adjusts your body may fight with you as it also adjusts in vibration and also tries to send you messages about what is going on around you. You’ll learn to listen to it.

As a psychic, you’re going to know things you wish you didn’t know about people, you’re also going to see some disturbing things.

I was so excited to be able to tap in. My gift is a clairvoyance and it’s been strong since childhood. But now that I was paying attention to it and working on it, I soon realized that not all was as it seemed.

Being a clairvoyant adult is a bummer some days.

You will know when people are lying and that is one of the most frustrating things to deal with as an adult. It’s hard to get people to fess up to a lie when you have no proof except your own knowing. It’s been downright heartbreaking sometimes to watch and witness and to decide what to do about it. There is not much benefit of the doubt anymore or ignorance is bliss mentality when you can see. I am grateful for it but some days it would be nice to not know the things and be blissfully unaware I must confess.

Seeing how people try to manipulate each other has also been deeply disturbing and frustrating. Meeting that person that everyone says you just have to meet, only to see or feel that they are not what they seem.

I have also seen some disturbing attachments on people and clients. A few have even been demonic-looking in nature. It’s also disturbing some days to see how manipulated we can be from sources we are unaware of as well as the energetics of another person. There are some Souls on Earth that are not good. There is good and bad on this planet.

I have also had encounters with spirits who are willing to show what happened to them and not everyone dies peacefully in their sleep let’s just say.

You’ll struggle with boundaries.

When first starting, everyone will want to be worked on or have a reading until it comes time to pay. Many people are quite willing to let you practice on them which is great and helpful but at some point, there needs to be an exchange and this is where boundaries get really hard.

Many energetics struggle with giving more than they receive and struggle with saying no.

I have had many people try to get a free reading or a free energy clearings from me and it’s just not within our energy to give so much.

There will come a time when the word NO is your best friend to see who really sticks around and who sees you for the amazing work that you are doing on this planet.

You’re probably going to be figuring a lot of things out firsthand or for yourself.

There is a lot of trial and error.

There are also many many books and courses out there on how to do everything now but more than likely you are not going to connect with all of them. You might only connect with bits and pieces of something and the rest you will be on your own to figure out.

There is absolutely no one-size-fits-all when it comes to energy work, being a psychic, or being an awakened being in this world. It is all unique and individual. Foundations are great to have and can be a good jumping point but lots of the experience comes from trial and error.

Not all things work for all clients either.

Just getting started and taking each experience as a lesson is the best mentality to have but it can be deeply frustrating to always be trying to find the way and find a path or trying to make something work.

I could go on and on with this list, but these are the main topics I wish someone would have mentioned or discussed with me beforehand. If there was a manual for awakening, I would include things like this to be aware of. Not to strike fear in the newbies but just as a forewarning that this is all a totally normal and part of the experience.

All of these seemingly negative things play a bigger role and a bigger picture in the grand scheme of things. It’s how we align to the highest.

My Guides always tell me the world is made of energy and alchemy. Nothing changes if nothing changes.

Once you’re awake, it’s easier to just roll with it rather than to go back to what was once your normal. It’s a ride and there is no map. Hell, is there even a seat belt?? Most of the time we are just hanging on and hoping for the best.

One thing I have learned is we make the map as we go. We can also find other people’s maps that either help us some of the way or make no sense at all. But your path is your path alone and the people that you meet along the way and the experiences had, no matter how nonsensible, will prove to be some of your greatest treasures in the journey.
