There’s Only One Difference Between Worldly Desire Chasers and Seekers Destined for Enlightenment

It all has to do with how you treat your awareness.

Some people are hopelessly stuck. They can only see through lens of what they’re attached to; what is far beyond this purview is simply ‘irrelevant.’

Their lives are a wild goose chase from one desire to the next, until the energy of grasping is so gigantic it precipitates another incarnation, defined by these obsessions, just to continue the hunt.

To such a thick blindfold, what is far beyond the darkness just doesn’t exist.

But you’re different.

You know staying in your self created swamp isn’t the be all and end all. You have doubt that your body and mind are places of rest and refuge — and maybe you’ve even begun seeking a higher safety from them.

But it’s a struggle to even remember what this life is for.

Because while following Western culture, it’s almost impossible to prioritize the most valuable aspect of your humanity.

Let’s face it.

  • Our streets are designed for cars, not community.
  • Our lifestyles prioritize technology, not heartfelt communication.
  • Our economies value growth, not depth.

Scientists don’t even bother to study the magic key:

This nonphysical consciousness; not necessarily bound to a body.

It is rooted in it, yes. But there are plenty of other “beings” that are not based in biology-based life.

Like Buddhas. Their minds are everywhere, knowing everything, intervening in the most powerful ways possible. And they have no physical bodies or brains to “cause” consciousness.

The path they took to get to this utterly perfect freedom & power was by prioritizing consciousness over carnality.

So why enslave this free consciousness to the whims of the body and temporary waves we call mind?

Why not use this container to study & perfect the expression of consciousness — its full knowing of itself, and its love for all others?

Because we’ve never been taught how, and on a mass, institutional level, are too culturally blinded to follow those that do.

So it’s up to you to look out for yourself.

No elders will be able to provide you the generational knowledge and support to know what life is for.

No teachers or professors can awaken your enlightened higher potential.

You have to turn away from the herd of casual grazers yourself — by the simple realization that your awareness is for something other than collecting sensual impressions from the external world.

It’s for finding a permanent, ultimate fullfillment that does not decay or decompose. A wellness that cannot be destroyed, because it was never “born” in the conventional sense in the first place: it’s the basis for everything impermanent that exists.

To chase stimulation or final fulfillment; to rely on the mundanely available, or trust in the eternal & ultimate existent.

This one desire determines how your canoe is steered in the ocean of existence!
