There’s a Chance We May Get a High-Budget John Wick Game
Gaming News

The film studio behind the John Wick movies, Lionsgate, reportedly wants to make a high-budget John Wick video game. Their studio executive Jon Feltheimer stated the following.
“I don’t want to get ahead of myself here, but we believe there is a big AAA game to be made out of ‘John Wick.’ We have been fielding proposals. We certainly are interested in moving that forward, but I don’t want to say anything more about that at this time,”
If you’ve never heard of John Wick, here’s a brief introduction. John Wick is a series of films that follows an assassin on a quest for revenge against the ones who wronged him.
So far, there have been three John Wick movies released as well as a fourth movie, a spinoff movie and a prequel series in the works.
The main character John Wick is played by Keanu Reeves, who I'm sure most of you have probably heard of.
Since this idea for a John Wick game is still in the literal first steps, we know absolutely nothing about any aspect of the game.
Although I assume many fans, including myself, are wondering if Keanu Reeves will be playing John Wick in the game as well.
With Reeves’ role in Cyberpunk 2077, I wouldn't doubt he is willing to appear in a videogame made after a movie in which he had one of his most popular castings, aside from The Matrix, that is.
Interestingly, if this game does end up being developed, it won’t be the first John Wick video game.
There is a game called John Wick Hex, which is a neo-noir action strategy by Bithell Games. It consisted of slow-mo turn-based puzzles and was available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch.
