There once was a Carlos and Lucy

Claimed I aimed at a vein oh so juicy

They said it in short

Their wit made me snort

I’m so “glad,” I could dance the watusi

A writer-friend of mine, Carlos Garbiras, just published this …

… in Lucy Dan 蛋小姐 (she/her/她)’s egg-cellent pub, The Brain is a Noodle.

In the story, Carlos starts with, “He always aims with his unique jocular style at your jugular.” Carlos is, of course, referring to me. Lucy then piled on in the comments with the highly inflammatory “HE DOES, doesn’t he :’)???” Carlos concluded, adding fuel to the fire, with “Totally does!”

So now, fine friends, it’s on! A WAR OF WORDS has begun! (JK JK 😜)

But …

If you’re feeling it, I would challenge you to pick a writer-friend — some “suggestions” are tagged below — and give them a little good-natured poke too, in the form of a story. Then stand back and see what happens. I leave it to your over-heated imaginations and creative spirits to decide on the nature of the “poke,” but do please make it truly fun.
