There no moral authorities, Poetry has always been the language of spirituality, of God.

There are no politicians, no leaders, Poetry has always been the arbiter of truth, of law.

Poetry is how you know what love is, Poetry is how you know what humanness is, Poetry is how you know what life is.

There are pieces of heaven here, Every day In each moment.

And if the poets don’t point them out Who will?

There are ways through, ways above, ways to rise Every day In each moment.

And if the poets don’t show us the way Who will?
