There is Only One Person Who Can Stop the War in Ukraine, and It’s None of These!
The war in Ukraine is becoming increasingly dangerous for the entire world. The threat of nuclear war is real. Only one person can stop it, and it’s not Putin, Zelensky, Biden, or anyone of the EU leaders!
Putin is like a rat in a corner. He has lost all credibility with his Kremlin cronies, his commanders, and anyone still left in Russia with a brain. His army has collapsed. All he can do now is lash out with tactical nuclear weapons. He really has no other option if he wants to remain in power, and that’s a big problem not just for Ukraine but the entire world.
Likewise, Zelensky also has no real option to negotiate, no matter how much Macron or other leaders in the West may want him to do so. Too many Ukrainian people have been killed and tortured. Too many cities were destroyed and looted. The price the country has paid is too great to concede a yard. He must win back all his stolen territory.
For all his positive support, Biden does not scare Putin in the least.
The only person who can stop the war in Ukraine dead in its tracks is Xi Jinping. China has been sitting on the sidelines and patiently watching, always willing to have others attack the West for them. Also, China wanted to see what the rest of the world would do since it had its own designs for taking over Taiwan. If the West’s response to an attack on Taiwan is as strong as it has been to the invasion of Ukraine, then surely China must be thinking again or willing to wait another decade or two. Either way, they have their answer.
China does not need the economic turmoil this war is creating; it has its own problems, nor does it want to see nuclear war, not even a tactical nuclear war. Xi Jinping has human rights violations on an epic scale nonetheless has the chance to step up to the plate on the world stage and be the hero by putting an end to the war.
How does Xi Jinping put an end to the war?
Tell Vladimir Putin it’s time to quit and that China will join the western coalition in isolating Russia if he doesn’t stop his nonsense.
Putin can go back to his people and tell them that he has successfully eradicated Nazis from Ukraine, which is true since they weren’t there to begin with. Maybe he can regroup and hold onto power, or perhaps he won’t, but even he is not stupid enough to go up against the might of China and the US together.
This is the only way this war will end unless there’s a coup from inside Russia itself. And believe me, that doesn’t necessarily make things better since at least four of Putin’s top people, the ones most likely to succeed him, are more right-wing and Hawkish than he is. It also pays to remember that Russia has never been a democratic society, and the fall of Putin will not make it so.
So, let’s hope Xi Jinping wants to go down in history for saving Europe rather than just slaughtering Uyghurs!
