There Are Worse Things Than Racism When It Comes To Dating

I am more on the lookout for these other types of men

Racial discrimination is endemic in the dating scene.

If you are a person of color, you have experienced outright exclusion or fetishization due to your race.

If you are a person of color who sticks to dating within his or her race, you won’t feel or mind this exclusion or fetishization very much. After all, you didn’t want them (the other race).

If you are a person of color who is attracted to all races, you would feel it and you would mind. Most of us in this day and age grew up watching movies and TV shows with leading characters from all races.

That means, for many of us, we are attracted to all races.

A Handsome Man is A Handsome Man.

So to then be excluded or fetishized, solely because of your physical features, can suck majorly.

Black women experience this a lot. In America, a lot of negative stereotypes are attributed to black women.

If you could boil down all the negative stereotypes attributed to black women into one word, it would be unfeminine.

Strange world we live in, where we lump women who happen to share a certain color- a color that has different shades by the way- into one big ‘ol negative category, and yet those physical features, lips and bums are the gold standard in female plastic surgery.

How can you say that women who share the same color are universally aggressive?

Beats me.

Racists don’t utilize their critical thinking skills much

But that is the world we live in.

It sucks and it limits one’s dating pool.

However, today, I realized that it’s a good thing racists don’t bother with me.

By not being swiped on or asked out, I am spared their hateful and demeaning treatment.

I am spared the trauma that they would inevitably inflict.

WIN-WIN, right?

This is what many black women miss when they lament being excluded from certain men because of their race.

God is saving you from that trauma.

I have never been traumatized by any of these racists in my dating life.

But you know who has inflicted trauma on me?

Misogynists

Sexists

Self Hating Black Men

Narcissists

Men who come across as not racist, but leave lingering trauma.

These are the men that I am more on the watchout for.

These are the men I no longer want to experience in my life.

So, let racists continue their racism, I don’t care.

They are doing me a favor.

I am being spared their David Duke D*ick and other invalidations.

I only want men who value me and bring me peace.
