A Poem of Old Favors
Nourishment in unexpected places.

Will your fragrance be as sweet as decayed honeysuckle — life plucked for pleasure
Will your fragrance be the acrid bump on the tongue or gracious release flexed creative muscles formed in exquisite heat?
Will your fragrance be the reluctant tears of men who don’t cry of hope that won’t die
I surrender to the arms of my destiny — where rot blooms flowers rebirth, joy, granted grace are showers.
