The Zen Master & The Hot-Dog Vendor
Thursday transformational storytelling.

Happy Thursday, readers and contributors!
A massive thank you to Spyder for saving my sorry ass this Thursday! He shared a story with me that he, himself had found on facebook. Upon my desperate attempts to find the source of it, I came across a slightly modified version of what he initially sent me. Both are equally as funny, as they are filled with wisdom, but I had to choose just one.
Here we go:
A Zen master visiting New York City goes up to a hot dog vendor and says, “Make me one with everything.”
The hot dog vendor fixes a hot dog and hands it to the Zen master, who pays with a $20 bill. The vendor puts the bill in the cash box and closes it.
“Excuse me, but where’s my change?” asks the Zen master.
The vendor responds, “Change must come from within.”

Okay, this is officially the shortest story I have ever shared on Medium. Quality over…length? I don’t know. I hope you enjoyed it! I am dying of curiosity to discover your thoughts regarding the humor and lesson of today’s story.
If you write something in response to it, remember to tag it under “storytelling”. Otherwise, reflect and enjoy!
Thank you for reading. Till next time!
