The Zeal To Get Up And Fight

Zeal: it is the eagerness and ardent interest in the pursuit of something; the fervor to make something happen!

Each day, life presents its own plans for us despite our many wishes and dreams. You feel defeated when you don’t achieve the day’s targets.

All creators and writers wish to write and create daily. But the humdrum chores of life steal away the zest and life from our days.

Let’s decide to get up and fight back the feelings of defeat, focusing on being creative. Let’s live each day as a masterpiece in our own little way.

Here’s the poetic rendition of a rhyme I wrote a while back but decided to narrate today. I hope you enjoy the poem!

When each day seems like a hot mess, stand back and pull yourself through. Though the day’s tasks seem unfinished, don’t beat yourself with rue. You have battled the odds and done the best that you could do. The Zenith is yours — go live up and seize the day anew.

When the plate seems always full of burdens — too heavy to bear — Remember, what you’ve gone through is precious, and you’re so very rare. When the disapproving taunts of tradition gun your morale down. Embellish your shattered self-worth and flaunt it to the town.

When the clutches of the boring humdrum arrest your taste of freedom, Turn them into the masterpieces of your dainty little kingdom. In those difficult times when all the helpings of hope are done, Pull out your secret dose of self-belief and trust in the Mighty One.

Whenever it seems like it’s over and your control over life is lost, Remember the worth of your sacrifices and how much it has cost. Fight now, fight all, fight hard to regain all that has been gone. Show the world your remarkable mettle despite being torn.

Finally, when you overcome your tragedies, never forget the whole ordeal. Remember to be kind and encourage another soul facing the same deal. Remember to be humble; history might repeat itself like a reel. When that happens, and the thieves of sorrow make another steal -

Remember to Get up, Toughen up, and fight back with yet some more zeal!
