The Writers Strike Seems to be Ending
And the Writers Have Come Out On Top

It has been announced in the news that the writer’s strike seems to be coming to an end as a tentative agreement has been reached. It has been a gruelling 146-day strike for the writers as many risks and even sacrifice their homes, their livelihoods and their careers to stand up against an oppressive system.
THE LITTLE GUY IS WINNING!
Needless to say, no one is cracking open the champagne until the contracts are signed but this is a major turning point in the negotiations.
Many will think this does not impact them but I believe it does.
The strike holds an important lesson which we can all learn from.
The Writers Strike is an inspirational story about individuals taking on a big system, designed to belittle and abuse them, and the writers are winning. It is a monumental moment which teaches us that even the poorest of the poor can defeat the rich when we fight as a team. That we are the cogs that make systems work and when we demand a level of respect and fight for it, we can win.
This is a lesson that everyone can learn from. Many companies like Amazon are known for treating their staff like dirt, but if we gang together we can end this injustice and create a more equal society but we need to help each other achieve.
The reason the Writer’s Strike has been successful is that people who appreciate their wealth and success supported the little guys financially and used their voices for good. People like Jessica Chastain, Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively released that they are less replaceable than those further down the food chain but rather than sneer at them, propped them up and helped them achieve.
One person will struggle to make a difference but when we band together we can become an army and together, we will be able to ensure fairness and equality in our society.
