The Writer’s Prompt Prequel
There’s Still Satire on the Table

A crew mate brought to my attention — thank you Jill Ebstein — that there’s still that first prompt hanging out, below deck.
It’s like a Star Wars-out-of-order prompt.
So I’m calling it out here. Also, just to throw up the Jolly Roger and let you all know — there is NEVER a time limit to any of the writers’ prompts I initiate.
Why might that be, matey?
Because, first, I’m the Captain of this ship, and I say so.
And secondly, my prompts are always good ideas, to get your writing juices flowing.
SO, here was the prequel, just in case you missed it — right out of the competition announcement.
The Prequel Prompt
Check out this article. What could possibly go wrong? Write a satirical piece. Or imagine the meetings that come from this. Or the meetings to go into the planning. Write a sketch, pen a cartoon, write a funny poem. Write any comedic related piece.
