The world is holding its breath waiting for the results on Tuesday.

Will the vote be so massive that any attempt to challenge it will be impossible?
Will America regain some of the international respect it has lost?
Will there be a peaceful transfer of power?
Will mail in votes be challenged?
Will those that are late be counted?
Will unfounded raving about mail-in fraud have any effect?
Will there be uncertainty on Wednesday morning?
Will the supreme court decide the winner?
Will judge Barrett recuse herself?
Will voters be intimidated by men with guns at the polls?
Will there be violence?
Will the army be called in?
Not long ago all that stood against fascism and communism
Was America’s unwavering faith in Democracy
And its unselfish prosocial support of Europe through lend lease.
For almost 80 years Americans could stand tall, proud
Of their support for a strong international community.
On Tuesday the world will be watching.
Will America regain its place as a world leader?
Or will America succumb to greed and short sightedness?
