The World As We Know It Is Going Under and I Want To Stop It

Is Anyone Else Seeing It?

I know, the title is kind of dramatic but is true. Let me explain why. I am a 70's child, as hopefully, many of you are. No doubt, you know that is been a gigantic difference between now and then. People back then, at least as I remember, don´t even use a seat belt and today cars are driving themselves. I’m not going to judge or complain about these changes. World evolved. I get it. But what about humans? Don´t you feel that the change is pretty unbalanced? Especially after the long isolation, we suffered because of the Covid-19 tragic situation. I miss the days when was easy to communicate and just speak my mind. Sometimes, at social events, I feel like an alien. The whole idea is that evolving means change, change means adaptation, adaptation means tolerance, tolerance means openness, openness means acceptance, acceptance means self-love, self-love means love, and love means everything. I miss the easy-going side of human relationships, I miss authenticity. Just being present, just being in the moment. I hope soon to rediscover that authenticity and even if the world as we know it is going under, it doesn´t mean the end. But only the beginning of a new era, of a new world. Hopefully, will still be around to witness it. Meanwhile, making the best to leave this place a little better than before.
