Summarize

RHYMER

The Worker

The light clicks on and boots stroll in As sawdust stirs, the faintest grin. The boards lay stacked, to be made whole; They calmly wait for future soul.

The tools come out from here and there To be setup with gentle care. Edges caressed upon whetstone; The cutting face a razor hone.

The rhythm starts; the ebb and flow. New life and purpose; to bestow. The plane blade pulls the shavings; shiick. The boards are prepped; they get the tick.

The fit is tested, proven true; A lasting union made with glue. What once were parts, are made complete. Disparate pieces, now accrete.

As tools go back and floors are swept, The offcuts combed and pieces kept. The light clicks off; once all is packed. And boots stroll out; with grin intact.

Thanks for reading.
