The Wisdom Behind Your Curiosity

How dark & light curiosity hold the truth to your spiritual growth

Passion is rare, but curiosity is everywhere every day.

At times, it might be challenging to go toward your true passions, especially if it requires a commitment on your part. Time can be scarce, responsibilities can be on the way of doing it, and money nowhere to be found.

But

Your passion can also be an activity you do over the weekend for yourself or with others. It can be a ritual of yours that brings you some joy or allow you to express your creativity. It doesn’t have to be done for a living, but for the pleasure of doing it.

If

Pursuing your passion is complex, and the timing is not correct, then there is a solution to that, which might not cost you anything and can be a building block toward exploring your passion.

What

About your curiosity? It seems easier to follow and explore. It doesn’t require any planning, time, or place. Furthermore, it just comes to you, and the only thing you have to do is decide on the spot to go for it or discard it.

The subject of curiosity is not explored enough, in my opinion. Why? — because not too often anyone says to their friends that they followed their curiosity to discover or reach a new goal. Everything is all about planning or following a trend or starting a business, but not going after your curiosity to reach success.

I want to know more about it for myself — So I meditated on the subject and did some research, which I found.

What fuels your curiosity — the nudges from your soul.

Your curiosity happens randomly or when something or someone triggered your attention for a moment. What we don’t know is what initiates it? — Your soul — It happens because it is an easy way for your soul to lead you toward a solution or the next step toward your growth. The soul already knows what you are passionate about, what you are divinely good at, where your success, potential failure, and shortcoming are. It uses your curiosity to nudge you toward exploring new experiences with the goal that you will recognize yourself in it and then include it toward your ideal version.

Trust your curiosity; it is working to your advantage. It doesn’t matter if you perceive it as good or bad; it is there to make you grow.

Dark curiosity is an experience believed to be wrong by society.

In following your curiosity, there are some of them perceived as evil, immoral, forbidden, destructive, or whatever word you can use to call it not legitimate to do. It starts with our parents, in their mission to protect us from wrongdoing. They stop us every time we want to touch or do something as a kid. Too much of that safety net makes you never want to jump or try anything unusual, which might hold the key to your next expansion. Our society also plays its role by labeling specific experiences as evil, all for preservation. I wonder if it helps because even if it is said to be wrong, we still do it behind closed doors. Do you recognize yourself? I do; I am guilty of some of them. But one thing I know is that I am gaining some wisdom from those experiences.

Light curiosity is what you go after to express your creativity.

Creativity is the resulting product of an ongoing curiosity for a craft, activity, or experience. It makes you sit in front of the computer to use your imagination and knowledge to write. It is what gets you to perfect a craft over and over until you use it naturally. Doing the thing you are curious about leads to finding your calling. If you don’t stop responding to your curiosity, you will eventually fill all the gaps required to understand yourself, what you like or dislike, and what you should do to reach fulfillment in life. Light curiosity is everywhere and comes naturally, and it also has a plan that is working in your favor.

When you have no plan in life, follow your curiosity. Believe that life is working with you on your dream even if you don’t know all the details. Look at uncertainty as a blessing because your curiosity can show you the most optimal path to reach your unborn idea of a successful life.

Our soul is good at teaching us lessons in two ways — Through light curiosity or creative experiences and through dark curiosity or forbidden activities.

The funny thing is that both are necessary for anyone to thrive. We live in a dualistic reality where light and dark are present. There is no escaping it unless you give up your life. Still, the beauty about all of it is finding your balance with all experiences you stumble into by following your curiosity without judgment or fear — Become that little kid who is curious about life.

Have you met or saw on TV someone looking amazing, successful, and well, to be caught doing bad things in close-door? It’s because when he was supposed to do them when it was safe and plan by the soul, he wasn’t allowed to do it to learn the lesson behind the experience.

Or if he wasn’t stopped, then fear got the best of him.

Behind any kind of curiosity lies an experience and a lesson that will strengthen your core beliefs. I leave you in peace and love.
