Summary

The article emphasizes the importance of sharing diverse perspectives to gain a more comprehensive understanding of truth and ideas, fostering collective growth in the Age of Aquarius.

Abstract

The article "The Whole Picture" challenges readers to consider whether their understanding of truth is ever truly complete. It suggests that while we may possess certain facts, our perspective is often limited, akin to describing an elephant by only one of its parts. The author argues that a broader, more accurate picture emerges when we combine our individual views with those of others, especially in the context of the Age of Aquarius, which is characterized by collaboration and unity. By sharing our unique insights, we contribute to the formation of greater ideas that transcend individual capability, ultimately participating in the co-creation of a New Earth.

Opinions

  • The author believes that our individual understanding of truth is usually partial and that we must combine perspectives to approach the whole truth.
  • The concept of an elephant is used metaphorically to illustrate that each person's viewpoint is just one part of a larger reality.
  • The Age of Aquarius is presented as an era that values collective wisdom and the merging of individual perspectives for the benefit of the whole.
  • Sharing ideas is seen as a way to contribute to the emergence of greater, collective ideas that no single person could conceive alone.
  • The author expresses gratitude to readers for participating in the global exchange of ideas, which is essential for the creation of a better world or "New Earth."

The Whole Picture

Do we really have the complete, true picture?

How often do we believe we know the truth of something?

We may have some of the facts about it, but do we have the complete picture?

When asked, “What is an elephant?” — and the answer is “a trunk… a tail… large floppy ears… an extremely large body” . . . each of those views is true!

However the COMPLETE truth is that it is ALL of those views seen together as one!

If we can see only one of those facts from our limited view, then we are only seeing a partial truth.

With the veil covering many realities, we see only partially most of the time!

If we share our view of something with others — with ones with open minds — we can often get a more complete view of the reality of it . . . a view nearer to the WHOLE PICTURE!

So is this true with the sharing of IDEAS.

We may have our own unique view of an idea — but it may be only one important aspect of a much greater idea that is seeking to emerge from the cosmos.

The Age of Aquarius is the age of ‘groupness’ . . . of merging our unique hard-earned individuality with the group as we share that uniqueness for the greater good of the Whole.

By sharing our part of the idea, we may be adding our contribution — our own unique piece of the puzzle — to the creation of a much greater idea than we as individuals could ever have conceived or brought forth on our own!

We are all in this together . . . in the creation of this New Earth!

Thank you for reading my little suggestive ideas. . . and for joining with me and the multitudes of other writers and readers worldwide in the co-creation of this soon-to-emerge wonderful New Earth!
