WRITING PROMPTS
The Weekly Special — Nov 29th-Dec 5th
Prompts for essays, creative non-fiction, articles, or op-eds
The Quote Spark and the Concept Spark are meant to be used for personal essays, creative non-fiction, articles, or opinion pieces. However, if so led, you may also write a poem or piece of fiction. The point is to get creative!
Quote Spark
Your abundance is not measured by what you have, it is created by what you share. — Heidi Catherine Culbertson, Wisdom and Recipes
Concept Spark
Share your ideas about ‘change’. Are you open to it? Does it scare you? How do you keep up with an ever-changing world? Do you keep up with it? What would you say to someone who wants to change who you are? Do you change yourself in order to fit in? How would you change the world you live in to make it a better place for yourself, your family, your friends, the entire world?
You have a full week to write about one or both of these sparks — from Nov 29th-Dec 5th. Take your time and craft a thorough piece. Let your emotions lead you across the page. Delve deeply or remain on the surface — your choice.
Word Length — up to 1500 words.
Write promptly and enjoy!
