The Virtual Ink is Never Dry
Who has success here is hard to assess
The virtual ink is never dry. Words, wisdom, and nonsense filter by
Who is better and who has success is incredibly hard to assess
Underneath the incessant chatter, binary code, philanthropic advice, lovers lost and lovers kissing
I’m a single blade of grass in this sea witnessing how the moderate substrates dictate who gets center and who must watch and read
The louder, the bolder, the younger, the newer, the older, the wiser, articulating their parables it doesn’t matter or make sense
Title, subtitle, keep lots of white space punctuation and grammar have its place
Somehow though, only a handful will be sifted from the flock and soar to the top
As for me I’m single blade of grass watching the hierarchy
A poet whose simplistic observations will most likely go unnoticed
Although, with any true alchemy, all one needs is to write how their soul breathes in a wide-open sea until one is ready to leave.
