The Violin Is Still Not Dead
At the beginning playing the violin is hard. But when you practice you will get better. You need the resolution to exercise. You need to be patient to learn to play the violin.
In the beginning, it is hard and difficult. Then, when you see how everything goes and how everything operates with playing the violin, you absorb everything very fast.
I began playing the violin when I was seven years old. One year before that I played the cello. I sang in a choir, I played in orchestras and small ensembles. And recently, I played solo at a wedding. Once I did before when I played with a quartet.
Very aged instrument and change over the years
The violin is an instrument that could be difficult or it could be an easy instrument. At least that is how I endure it and the stories I hear from fellow violinists.
The violin will also be called a fiddle. But I wouldn’t recommend to call it like that when we speak about classical musicians.
It is a wooden instrument, made from forests. Violin makers are going to some special forests where they find the best woods for crafting their instruments. That is a hell of a business.
There are a number of violin makers in the world today and in the past.
In these days we also have violins made not by hand. That is a shame because the crafting of this instrument is amazing.
This instrument goes back in ages. It is an old instrument. In the beginning, the fingerboard was short. But after years, people want to play higher notes on the fingerboard. So, violin makers made the fingerboards longer on these violins.
The common instrument chosen of all instruments
This instrument is chosen the most from all the instrument that exists. I think everyone knows a violin much better, but don’t know another instrument, like a tuba. Actually, that is a shame as all instrument has its own character. I think we just need to get the other instruments too.
In an orchestra, the violin is in front of all the other instruments. So you can see it. When you’re going to a concert as a child, you don’t see the other instrument. At least, not when you’re sitting in the audience not so far from the orchestra.
I have a sister who plays the violin. So I wanted it too. I heard her playing the violin all day long. I wanted that too. So, I exchanged the cello for playing the violin.
There is a lot of music written for it because it was one of the instruments that are old. In the early stages of the violin, lots of people were playing the violin.
This is also the most common chosen instrument of all instruments because composers composed a lot of os music for this instrument. There were not many other instruments, I guess.

Find the right teacher for you
When you start playing the violin, it is important to find the right teacher who can teach you the basics in the right way. There are teachers who concentrate on having pleasure while playing the violin. But I think both are very important to have. Then you will play good music and you’re able to have the ability to more difficult music.
As I play the violin, it has changed me over the years. I find joy in what I am doing when playing the violin. I have done so many things with music in my life!
