Opinions
The view I have from my two eyes,
so tragic, yet sublime.
it’s only one perspective,
just a point in space and time.
It may be just one viewpoint
but to me, it holds the key
to everything surrounding
this one view belongs to me.
It’s not that I mind sharing.
I like sharing things with you.
You show me what your world is,
and I will gladly show mine too.
But something we must look at
with honest scrutiny.
I cannot give my eyes to you
Likewise, you can’t give yours to me.
We can only just imagine
what the universe beholds
from one another’s viewpoint
through our stories to be told.
