The Murder of Martha Moxley
Greenwich, Connecticut was a special place — even back in 1975. However, a lot of that sparkle was lost after that Halloween. That’s when 15-year-old Martha Moxley was savagely murdered — right next to her family’s mansion

By all accounts, and even according to her diary, Martha was a pretty typical 15-year-old girl for that time. She had likes, dislikes, crushes, turnoffs, and what seemed to be a long and bright future ahead of her.
What’s more, she lived across the street from American royalty — the Skakels!
That’s right, just 7 years prior, in June of 1968, the husband of Ethel Skakel was assassinated while on the campaign trail during a newly hatched run for President of the United States.
You might have heard of him — his name was Robert F. Kennedy, former Attorney General of the United States and brother of slain former President John F. Kennedy.
Fast forward to 1975, and there, on the lawn, in one of the most affluent neighborhoods in America, lay the body of a sweet and innocent little girl. As if being stripped from the waist down, beaten over the head, and later impaled through the throat by a Skakel family golf club wasn’t enough — was it possible that a Skakel was actually responsible for her murder?
