The Value and Benefit of Friends of Medium

A way to support the community of writers and a rewarding enhancement for your own participation.

I recently upgraded my membership with Medium.com at the recommendation of my colleague Dr Mehmet Yildiz, a well-regarded publisher and successful writer with Medium.

I am now a Friend of Medium and am glad of it. I have been limping along with modest success but decided that an upgrade would help bring more followers and revenue.

Moving from writing for my own expression and enlightenment to sharing ideas with others was a big step. I‘m glad I made this move two years ago; for now, I receive the responses of readers and other writers who offer support and inspiration not formerly available. I am richer for the help and engagement.

I recently suffered a medical emergency that pushed down my productivity; my hope is that a modest increase in my investment with Medium will aid my recovery and bring more recognition and continued success on this platform.
