The Vale Between Worlds
A poem about actualizing the potential of every moment
The vale between today and tomorrow is as obscure as infinity as thin as a veil between lover’s empty promises, and as abstruse as fog upon languid dawn.
The vale between the atoms of my fingers and the atoms of your skin are galaxies across yet here we are dreaming of our lips crossing the void as one.
The vale between the story and the reality is carbon slivers wild clouds upon the drop riding in rivers of ink towards worlds gone in a blink.
The vale between how I feel in my soul and what comes true is but a dream of a crab in a seashell waiting on a lonely shore.
And do you hear my call betwixt the mountain top and the valley floor? smoke signals sent coded yearnings lent in the moonlights gentle yawn.
This world is but shadows in the vale, miles across here we walk and search without eyes until we both find, truth in a beloved forbidden light.
