The Unexpected: Lyrics for the Strategic Mind
The game always depends on what goes on within

In playing chess you will only be successful if you think at least 3 moves ahead. You have to analyze the board and anticipate your opponent's actions. Set up a strategy to ensnare their king without sacrificing your own.
If you think in straight lines you will miss the bigger picture. Those pesky bishops controlling the diagonals of the board can be sneaky. See situations from every angle and be confident in your decisions.
Outsmart your opponent by being creative. When you do the unexpected you can take even high-ranking players off guard. No one expects you to sacrifice your queen! When you combine a solid strategy with innovation, your plans are hard to escape.
Look ahead, what do you see? can you plan your way do you have strategy or just want to say you play
Do not think in straight lines take in the whole scene see how it all entwines all the moves in between
When choices are limited winning’s not suspected when the way is blocked do the unexpected do the unexpected
Plan your line of attack how will you make it through you can’t take moves back make sure to review
Do you know how things will end? do you think you can win? the game always depends on what goes on within
When choices are limited winning’s not suspected when the way is blocked do the unexpected do the unexpected
Chess and life are more similar than you realize. Strategic planning is key no matter what you are trying to accomplish. Give yourself time to plan and analyze your way forward. Set yourself up for success by figuring out how to avoid what can go wrong.
When you can find creative solutions to your problems, you can become successful faster. Think outside of the box and figure out more efficient ways to meet your goals.
Believe you can win and stay true to your path. Learn how to adapt when things do not go your way. Sometimes the best plans come when you have to redirect from your original strategy. Stay confident and keep working towards your dreams.
