The Unbreakable Bond Between My Son And His Furry Friends
In response to DEP weekly prompt 27/52: Anything Goes

When I read Vidya Sury, Collecting Smiles, DEP prompt, ‘ Anything goes’ I found myself flipping through my photo album. The first picture that caught my attention was of an incredible moment captured during a family vacation in Norway.
This picture was clicked at a local farmstead in the tiny, charming village of Flam, one of the most beautiful places to visit in Norway.
The farmstead was teeming with lambs and they were all jumping onto people’s shoulders with incredible agility.
My son has always had a fondness for furry animals and it wasn’t long before he offered his shoulder for a little lamb to hop onto.
The resulting image is not only adorable, but it tells a heartwarming story of kindness and a deep connection between living beings.
The big smile on my son’s face and the pure joy in his eyes conveyed that he was completely at ease with the lamb.
This photo captures his natural affinity for animals, which he has had from a very young age.
The lamb was also looking content with my son as if it knows that it is safe and loved.
In a world that is consumed by technology and the hustle and bustle of daily life, this picture serves as a reminder to slow down, enjoy simple things in life and nurture the connections we have with others, whether they are humans or animals.
This is a moment I will treasure lifelong. It is a testament to the power of love and kindness and to the beauty that can sometimes be found in the most unexpected places.
Thank you DEP editors Dr. Gabriella Korosi, Dr. Preeti Singh, Vidya Sury, Collecting Smiles, Annelise Lords for this publication and the amazing weekly prompts.
