The Two Special Qualities Of A Leader Are To Acknowledge and Create Synergy

An invitation to join the initiative towards synergy

The two most important qualities of any leader should be to acknowledge and create synergy. This brings success to people and to the organization.

I would love to illustrate this with examples through my own experiences where I worked.

The first example is that of acknowledgement.

On an occasion, after a major conference, two people Sheela and Seema (Names changed)were given the role of compiling and preparing a coffee table book of the institute showcasing the institute’s work with articles and colorful pictures.

It so happened that the book turned out to be marvelous. At a gathering, it was announced that Sheela was being awarded for the beautiful exclusive book because it would lend a lot of value to the institute. Sheela took the award and did not acknowledge Seema’s support which was the reason that Seema’s name was not taken by anyone at the award ceremony.

Seema felt very upset. Sheela lost a good colleague, a friend, and the support of other colleagues in the office who were not ready to collaborate and do any work with her in the future.

Sheela soon lost her leadership role in the office and face before the other colleagues. She left her job but learned a lesson to remember to acknowledge everyone who supported her in the future.

Dr Mehmet Yildiz started Passive Income For Writers, that is a new publication with a zeal and a new idea. Several writers supported him and already 100 followers have joined.

Some readers and writers did not like the name of the publication. It did not sound right to them. They were apprehensive. It did not suit the core value and purpose of the publication.

Dr Mehmet Yildiz being a good leader, acknowledged the fact that a better name could be given to the publication. Soon the name was changed and formalized to SYNERGY

Synergy is another important quality of a leader, without which no organization can be successful. Things will run in a disorderly manner and soon the organization will lose its value.

An organization to become well known has to work with synergy. If people work together, there must be a state of happiness working together. They have to adapt to each other’s viewpoints, listen to each other and accept or reject things harmoniously.

A leader who can create SYNERGY is a successful leader and his venture will certainly go to new heights.

With this in mind and being a good leader, Dr Mehmet Yildiz created synergy with the people he works with and with his followers and other platforms on which he writes.

It is his dream “that people and platforms collaborate with each other. Synergy aims at collaborating with writers from different platforms like News Break, Vocal Media, Hub Pages, Patreon, Substack, and others, making it the ultimate collaboration for writers.”

I would like to invite all readers, writers, and followers to join SYNERGY and collaborate with each other.

In the end, I would like to say that there are many benefits of acknowledging and collaborating because it creates synergy.

It is most aptly quoted by Stephen Covey “Synergy is what happens when one plus one equals ten or a hundred or even a thousand! It’s the profound result when two or more respectful human beings determine to go beyond their preconceived ideas to meet a great challenge”.
