The Two Great Assets You Need to Reach Every Dream
You can’t be successful without these two things
Becoming the kind of person you envisioned yourself to be and successful in today’s world isn’t an easy task — no playing of words around this.
It takes certain factors to make that happen aside, hard work and perseverance, and all the cliches that everyone talks about.
Whenever the issue of success comes up, what the majority of people think is setting goals, creating plans and strategies by which you’ll achieve them and taking action.
But it goes beyond that. Two factors come into play, which is very critical; information and relationship and here is why these two factors are crucial.
The easiness of getting to the dream
No dream can come true if you don’t dream it, says life coach and personal development expert, Mary Morrisey.
But no dream can come true as well even if you dream it but without the right information and people to help make it possible.
Because having a dream and setting goals and creating plans to achieve it without the right information coupled with the relationship with people that matter, fulfilling a dream could be difficult and challenging.
With the right information and people, the dreams become easy to achieve even before you start.
Quoting Albert Einstein;
“If I had an hour to solve a problem I’d spend 55 minutes thinking about the problem and 5 minutes thinking about solutions.”
It should tell you that information about things and how to bring them about is very much essential than the thing itself.
Imagine being a ship captain, and you’re from China, and you need to get Canada. And you have no information on how to get to your destination.
How do you get there?
You’ve now seen how information is essential in everything?
And with a network of people, you can’t underestimate the benefits that it brings as Ronald Burt said;
“Instead of better glasses, your network gives you better eyes.”
Salvage from the stress that comes with dream achievement
Life, they say is simple with a vision. But it’s much simple when there are information and people to make a dream come true. And it’s as a result of the stress that will be off by having these two components.
In that when you have a vision, and you lack the information and people to bring it to fruition; how are you going to go about it?
It’s going to be hard. There’ll be stress and difficulty.
Just like a fly finding itself in an enclosed area without light to give it the direction to find its way out.
What happens to it?
It will fly across the room all over ending nowhere stressing. And until there’s light is to move out, all it does is cos 90.
It is the same with dreams and their achievement. That, without the right knowledge and the network of people, whatever the individual will do will yield no result, and it will be all stress around them.
Avoidance of mistakes that could you cost a lot of time and money
Let’s say you like to prepare a sweet apple cake and you’ve got every ingredient that you’ll need, but you have no idea or knowledge on how to put them together to have this cake, and how it’s done, and you also have nobody to teach you.
What will happen?
You’ll end up baking something that couldn’t be called sweet apple cake.
This means, for every dream to come true, information on how to bring it about and people to rely on or help you out is critical, and one can’t overlook these two factors.
Because, if these factors are ignored, the achievement of the dream and for that matter success isn’t possible.
The ability to keep alive the passion and motivation needed to achieve the dream
Having a vision and having the information needed to make it a reality and the people to rely on is a superpower that one can never underestimate.
The reason is that knowing what to do to bring the dream into reality and the people to rely on for support when needed creates this energy in you. And unlike the stress that you’ll feel for lack of information and support, having these two tools ease that.
There’s motivation automatically, and your passion is always alive. And this is what makes every dream possible to achieve as described by neuro-coach Mark Waldman in his book NeuroWisdom when he talked about the four pillars of wealth and success with motivation being, the first.
Pat Riley said it well;
“A champion needs a motivation above and beyond winning.”
To keep the can-do spirit alive
“There is nothing a man can’t do if the spirit is there.” — Franz Stanpfl
The quote says it all. If you like to do something and the energy and spirit you need to do it are there, how can’t you do it? You will!
And this one of the things that, having the knowledge about what you want to do and the people to rely on for support when need be, does. It activates the can-do spirit in you. You get to be hopeful of succeeding. There’s nothing like doubt and fear of failure. You’re confident and always ready to take the actions required to succeed.
Because you have the essential ingredients needed to be successful.
Achieving a dream and becoming successful requires these factors.
So get yourself informed but most importantly be connected to people in your pursuit because people matter the most.
Cheers to your success.
