The “Trump In Heels” Woman Running For Governor In Virginia

A woman who is running in the Republican Primary for Governor of Virginia calls herself “Trump in Heels.” She seems to be extremely proud of her support for Trump and claims to be like him.
She is among those promoting “The Big Lie” that Trump won the election. She called for martial law to overturn the results of the 2020 presidential election. She was reported to have been at the Trump rally on January 6, 2021, in Washington, D.C. but may have left before the storming of the Capitol.
She was elected to the Virginia State Senate in 2015 and reelected in 2019.
While she was on a campaign trip, she was doing a meeting on the phone when the van in which she was traveling had a road rage incident. She is a strong gun rights advocate. Her aide brandished a gun.
Seven candidates are vying for the Republican nomination to become the next Governor of the State of Virginia. Republicans will be having drive up voting on May 8, 2021. It is being called an unassembled convention. The 53,000 people who have registered as Republican delegates will vote for the candidates in the order they prefer.
There are four candidates for the Republican nomination who are considered as the top tier. The “Trump in Heels” woman is among that group. Some seem to be very dedicated to Trump.
Democrats will vote in a primary election on June 8, 2021. Former Governor Terry McAuliffe is the frontrunner at the present time among the Democrats.
Virginia has a ruling that governors may only serve one term when elected, but they can run again if it is not consecutive.
The Republicans will pick their candidate very soon. The Democrats have another month before they will vote in their Primary.
