Abstract

We had a large jacaranda tree in our backyard.

Its branches had been designed by nature for children to climb. We built a treehouse there My sister and I A few planks tied together High in the sky.

It was school holidays and we played there day after day, We took our toys up there it became out little world,

Then one day there was an accident

Her beautiful doll fell to

the ground.

Did she fall or was she pushed?

We would never know but she was badly damaged

Her head was separated from the body

We were devastated

We climbed down

There was no putting it back together.

My mother placed it in the cupboard for fixing ,

We never saw it again.</p><p id="ffe6">………………………………</p><p id="10b6">Thanks for the prompt <a href="undefined">Libby Mitchell</a></p></article></body>
