The Time Of The Witch

And the Samhain

I think I just saw her as by me she flew With black cat on broomstick all shiny and new

But though they are legend they really exist One might be next door they don’t come out of mist

They’re known as wise women they are all around Earth magic and herbs that grow out of the ground

Are what they know well and they use to do good A witch is a witch and through time she has stood

A time of year hallowed by Pagans of old The time in the seasons when leaves turn to gold

And now is her time as the leaves start to fall And I wish a happy Samhain to you all
