The TikTok saga threatens creatives again.
The U.S. Congress moved this week on a vote to ban TikTok if the company was not sold by the Chinese firm ByteDance regarding national security concerns.
I recently wrote an article with a very clickbait title, YouTube Is Finally Shutting Down, which got a lot of views. The intent was to instill a sense of urgency in those depending on one platform for content creation income. While some hated the title, many more appreciated my sentiment.
Now, here we are talking about TikTok, and rumors threaten violence if the app shuts down. This is why I’ve been so adamant about people needing to be on multiple platforms.
Imagine a million dollars being at risk from your 3-second product reviews.
